A definite must stop and have a meal. The service was excellent very friendly and accommodating to the customer. The cook was not only the best but he was the owner as well. He used his own personal recipes. All the food was homemade and fresh. Mash potatoes were real not that instant kind. I highly recommend this place.

Very disappointed. Will NOT go back. Got a brisket au-jus to go and a Reuben. The au-jus was put in a Styrofoam cup with an ill fitting lid. Though they put two stickers in the lid to try and secure it it didnt work. And, they placed that on TOP of everything. Got home, opened the bag, and it had leaked and poured all over everything else in the bag. Complete mess. So, super dry sandwich with nothing to dip it in. On top of that, NOT worth the price at $17 per sandwich. When you think of deli, you think of a nice big fat sandwich. Not here. They were worth MAYBE $5 each, maybe. See pic of my super sad, dry, and boring sandwich. $17? Absolutely not. Ah well.

Simply put, if you are looking for something that makes you feel like you are home... this place is a good choice... Had the chicken fried steak for dinner, hash browns were offered so I jumped at the opportunity, gravy silky smooth and didn't taste like a packet or flavorless canned junk... potatoes were crispy and not super oily... dinner roll was soft and fluffy... and as a bonus, they gave me the mashed potatoes as well! Staff was super friendly, funny and all around wonderful, if you want a full warm belly and a little bit of being at home.. this is the place

Roxbury Deli on Channel Islands Boulevard in Port Hueneme serves up a wide variety of tasty breakfasts. They also have a good lunch and dinner menu, tho I’ve only had breakfast. The eggs Benedict was quite good. The Hollandaise sauce was spot on and the eggs cooked just right. My breakfast companions reported the waffles and French toast were fine.
